I like to take pictures of myself surrounded by tacos, the ingredients for tacos or other types of Mexican foods and spices as an aid in my spiritual quest and to perhaps allow others to partake in my vision of werewolf life-styles involvng Mexican food. In all of my creative work I like to explore this vision of "Taco Werewolf" as a metaphor for both the savagery and beauty of life. I initially thought of "Taco Werewolf" as a sort of euphemism for "a lover of hairy pussy," the "taco" being symbolic of a woman's vagina and "werewolf" representing a woman's pubic bush, or a body hair fetish in general. At the time I had no idea that I would become passionately obsessed with the idea and slip into full-blown "hairy taco mysticism".
While I do like to use "Taco Werewolf" for specific erotic symbolism I also find it useful for expressing the more general artistic ideas such as "beauty and the beast," the contrast between our wild, hairy animalistic impulses of lust and destruction with the beautiful symbolism conveyed in the features of a literal, edible taco. Tacos were always my favorite food as a child and as I got older I learned to appreciate their deeper, hidden nature.
As I eat a taco I try to commune with it, to be one with it. As I crunch on the shell I imagine I am biting into the metaphorical body of humankind. The delicious, savory hot sauce is like bright ruby blood that runs through my veins. The zesty, spicy seasoned meat is the earth that I walk upon. The emerald green, crispy lettuce is the grass our animals feed upon. The golden, rich delicious shredded cheese is like rays of the warm, nourishing sun shining gracefully down upon me and the juicy, ripe tomatoes are pieces of my heart tacos takes away from me every time I eat one because I love them so much.
